HELP CARE FOR OUR ANIMALS

Without our ponies and other farm animals, we can't do what we do. Providing our herd with top-notch care allows them to provide top-notch services to our participants. It costs about $7,500 to care for one pony for one year — this includes feed and hay, vet costs, dentist visits, farrier costs, shavings, and more. You can choose to support a specific horse or farm animal, or the entire herd. Thank you!

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Caring for our herd is expensive! Here are some of the costs we incur for the year:

  • $15,000 for feed

  • $60,000 for hay & shavings

  • $11,000 for vet visits, including vaccines and other needs (illness/injury)

  • $21,000 for the farrier, who gives them hoof care and shoes

  • $5,000 for dental care

  • $2,000 for one saddle, on average

  • $500 for one surcingle, which creates a deeper experience for the rider

  • $225 for a winter blanket for a horse while they’re turned out; sometimes, blankets don’t last the season; the horses play hard!

Sponsorship does not confer riding privileges, but does enable a horse to provide weekly therapy to our riders. You are welcome to visit your sponsored horse; please contact us in advance.
