This year’s A Farm to Stable Affair will give special focus to the Farm in the Forest, 6.5 acres of land gifted to Pony Power by the Stadler family. This special space has expanded the ways we serve our participants and local community.

Nature has always been very important to our family. We believe that spending time outdoors, and in the company of animals, adds to one’s happiness and emotional well being. This is the immersive experience that Pony Power offers to all who visit the farm.

We have been involved with Pony Power for over 15 years. Our children, Gabi, Christopher and Allie, volunteered as side walkers in the therapeutic riding program and assisted with other farm duties. I served as a side walker and farm crew volunteer, before later joining the Pony Power Board of Directors.

In 2017, my husband Chris and I purchased the property adjacent to Pony Power. Having an abundance of land provided the opportunity to collaborate on an expansive garden, and the Farm in the Forest was born. Our time with Pony Power has taught us that giving back to others can be an endless source of joy.
